
Hello, it's me, Emma!
A few things about me:
I live with a lot of gusto
I love dancing
When it is warm outside, I forget about shoes

My passion for regenerative agriculture began when I was 18 and I discovered deep-mulch gardening and the idea of how, by working with nature, we can create more abundance than if we left everything alone. This possibility of health and humans being an impact of good was so inspiring that I began farming and found out I loved it! It turns out that farming is not only a way to get paid to move around outside all day while snacking on cherry tomatoes, it is also a way for me to express my dream of seeing natural ecosystems flourish and in turn create flourishing for all involved, including humans.
I took over Mountain Cloud Farm in the autumn of 2022 from Breigh and Darren who started this farm back in 2012. I lease the garden space from Matthew and Terces Engelhart who own Mountain Cloud Creamery (check out their website HERE).
I would not be here running this farm today without the mentoring of Breigh and Darren, the overflowing support and belief of Matthew and Terces, and the dedication and love of my best friend Rose who partnered with me the first three seasons, pouring her soul into this land and business.
